Weekend Plans

First, I want to SLEEP, I am way past deficit.
Then, I want to WRITE, and re-organize everything I wrote this week. It's all jumbled.
Then, I want to PLAY guitar. I need to install garageband by the way.

So.. Watermelon thump? Ick. But I think the fourcorps' company will be fun.

I am a huge wikipedia addict. FYI.

Whitman's, the super-exclusive fashion house.

All in all I was working on it for about 8 hours, with breaks. But it's worth it to have something I made myself and is one of a kind, I think.

Psychological Band-aid metaphor

So I'm asited about camp, but also a bit underwhelmed because frankly, it's not TiP.

My phone is so. freaking. sweet.

Tera sounds like her rafting safariventure is going badly. I feel bad for her,
Hope you get some sleep and twinkies soon!

I am blind
but see out of a thousand open gasping mouths
I can only lie
but my syllables ring out like unstoppable truths

My legs are bare
Like Shiva, who made me learned
And my feet are cut and unprotected
Like Yeshua, who made me pious
But my heart bleeds with love
Like the first man, who made me mortal

Not much to say

Work went pretty fast, I got a haircut which I'll shortly post pictures of, my phone is ever closer....

Marching tomorrow. Feeling the burn already.

Shaking the hand of a man whose hand was cut off.

So this summer, I'm working at my mom's office, Format llc. They're a company that basically makes text books. Not prints, or writes, but rather lays them out and edits them. All the little buttons and sidebars and images are made or chosen and arranged by companies like format. Only format is just a little tiny business compared to some, we're all in one renovated one story building, less than 30 people include Nacho the Janitor (who comes in once a week).

More about my circumstances next post, now I have random life ramblings!

So I somehow gained the ability to whistle a couple of months ago. Now I do it almost nonstop if nobody else is around. I'm not too good, but being able to make up melodies without letting loose my embarrassing singing voice is great, not to mention addicting. I can even do it while practicing for drumline and make up whole little songs! A guy's whistling and a perc. pad. The minimalist orchestra.

My dreamy dreamy dreamphone (sony k800 limited edition silver) has been ordered and is on its way. But there's a cliffhanger, will it get here by Friday? Otherwise it's delayed until Monday, and then I'll be gone @ camp.

So my friend named Mary wants me to talk about her in my blog. Well I just want her, Mary Elizabeth Woody, who has a cool boyfriend named Lance, and who lives in the middle of nowhere with dial-up internet and is fun to make short jokes at, to know that I will not be mentioning her at all. And I will never include any details about her. GOT IT?

Instead of death, Fireworks!

These are my new vans. They rock. They're comfy and easy to slip on and they look like clowns from tron have been melded to my feet. I think they're so cool because of the rainbow checker design, which is retro in that 'postal service music video' kind of way. And that's on the bleeding edge of style, to me at least. They're also cool because they're lighter color shoes without being all white. I only had a black pair of converse, and a dark grey pair, and these pure white addidas shoes before. All at extremes and none colorful. The new vans are sort of in the middle of brightness and have probably the maximum amount of color and color variation good shoes can have. I'm rambling about shoes now, kind of funny.

It was on my trip to the mall with Brooke I acquired them, along with a tin of Jones' soda carbonated mints. (They actually fizz ever so slightly in your mouth!) When I bought them, the guy working the counter seemed very enthusiastic. He apparently loves Jones' soda candies, and recommended MF grape (MF being an ambiguous abbreviation on the labeling). But I had a craving for sour, and so went with the blueberry lemonade, which is really good. If you hit me up for candy on the street, you'll get one, but I'm running out of them fast so you'd better hurry.

If you ever need to buy me a present and want to be really cheap, any interesting looking candy is a hit with me. If you don't know what's interesting, just buy something you've never had before that's in a metal tin.

Today Richie called me, and I was at work. I was naturally very covert and said (very quietly) "Richie, I'm' at work!" on my phone. But he needed to ask me what program lets you rip music from your ipod onto your computer. The answer is iPodRip, of course, and feeling like I'd answered one of those crappy $100 questions on jeoprady, I hung up.

Today we ate at wendy's, and I almost got a frescatta. I was going to get one, because I've been eating a lot of fast food lately and I felt that the frescatta, which is a sandwhich, would be a little less bad for me. I also thought I should try something new. But I was afraid that the frescatta would be unsatisfying, in part due to its 'good for you' labeling. I still insisted on getting something new, but it was a swiss bacon something which tasted pretty bad and was unhealthy as well, so I guess I really lost out. Tomorrow I'm packing a lunch.

That picture of my new vans (which yes, I am still way too proud of) also serves another purpose, it's a reference for when I get my hair cut. I always like having before and after pictures when I get a trim, and I will probably be getting it done in austin sometimes this week. I'll be sure to post another picture when my hair is short again. I'll hold up my converse, I think, since they are really getting left out compared to my new vans. I still love you guys, you are cool in ways no vans could ever be.

So at work I've actually amassed a pretty big collection of panels from old old comic books I find cool or funny or just plain odd. I use them for AIM icons now, but what I really want is to make a background out of it. But when I'll have the time to do that at work I don't know. The comic panels are all taken from http://www.misterkitty.org/extras/stupidcovers/ which makes fun of old dollar-binn comics. It's pretty fun, and very interesting. It's part pop culture history and part amateur art exhibit.

I'm writing drum cadences, because I'm on drumline. I kind of have little melodies in my head, but I spend so much time drumming that when I sit down to write anything I have more fun coming up with beats.

I'm supposed to be flossing more. The dentist says if I don't I'll develop cavities, which I've never had. The ego part of me actually wants to floss now, because if I don't then I won't be able to say 'I've never had a cavity!'.

Well I think this is enough stuff to constitute one day of blogging. I did write my first entry last night but I'll have to type it all out another time.
